EDITORIAL POLICY

Our Editorial Policy is simple. Free and responsible expression of ideas and opinions. Yes, we reserve the right to limit discussion, but not viewpoints. We will NOT publish articles supporting violence or racist thought i.e. no hate here. There is more than enough hate in the World.

All submissions and other contributions to this site shall be the contributors original work and free of copyright restriction. Contributors are advised by submitting to PAX Gemini that they are surrendering ALL rights of publication and, as such, assigning these rights to PAX Gemini as the sole holder of copyright.

We Are PAX Gemini

You might wonder what "We are PAX Gemini" is about. It refers to each of us, the struggles Life presents us, how we cope and come to resolution with those events. PAX Gemini is about finding hope.

The motto above "Semper Anhelo Pacis", translates "Always Strive for Peace".

The meaning of "peace" is twofold. In this case, Peace refers to both tranquilty & serenity of the mind / spirit / body AND the struggle to find harmony in the world. Namely, between each of us as members of humanity.

Can a website achieve that? Probably not, but "every journey begins with a single step." This journey . . . is a personal and public outlet for ideas. A discussion of efforts and the state of the world.

PAX Gemini is founded with a simple belief, we each have something to contribute to the World. Not that the viewpoint is the most popular nor even most inspiring, but something that brings understanding. PAX Gemini is about provoking thought.

What Are Our Goals

There were several goals in creating this Website:

Who am I?

My name is Phillip Coombs and live in Charlotte, NC, USA. And yes, I am a Gemini. I am a poet, engineer, and once and always, Marine. So, the motto is yes in part a joke as well as personal belief.

I have travelled all over the world and seen . . . both the best and worst mankind has to offer. There has always been a conflict in me between those elements. What I've tried to do is what is right. Like any man, I have both failed and succeeded in my efforts. To a degree, that is what this is all about. A place to talk and express ideas. Both mine and of those who wish to share their struggles with themselves.

I am not focusing on personal failure or tragedy. This site is about overcoming our failures and finding resolution, not necessarily closure, but opportunity and hope. We might surprise each other.

Thank you for visiting. Hopefully, there is much more to come. May we embrace the journey . . .
